Hand-Tufting is a process to create a rug without trying knots. It is a quick process, and takes a fraction of the time to make, than a hand-knotted rug.
The frame has carpet grip around all 4 edges. The carpet grip holds the backing cloth as tight as can be. Then using the tufting gun that is connected to electricity and a compressor, it will shoot all the yarn through. Usually 3-4 strands at the same time. This will give the rug a thick tufted area.
